Adre' Anna Jackson: Still Waiting In The Dark
LAKEWOOD, Wash. -- Using a new type of sonar and searching a different area of American Lake, FBI divers resumed the hunt for a missing Lakewood girl Tuesday, 11 days after she disappeared.
An FBI dive team searched the lake last week without success, but divers were checking the middle of the lake Tuesday.
Adre'Anna Jackson, 10, was last seen walking to her school, Tillicum Elementary, on Dec. 2, not knowing classes were canceled because of snow.
Police said they're searching the lake because it's near the girl's home.
They asked anyone who saw Jackson on Dec. 2 to call them.
Jackson is white and American Indian, 4 feet 7 inches tall, 78 pounds, with auburn hair and brown eyes. She was last seen wearing blue jeans, white tennis shoes and possibly a blue shirt and a puffy black jacket. She may have been carrying a black and pink backpack.
Anyone with information about her is urged to contact Crimestoppers at (253) 591 5959 or Tacoma police at their online tip page. People offering information either way can remain anonymous.
