Court TV to televise Smith trial live

Court TV News will televise the Joseph P. Smith trial live, during the network’s daytime programming, beginning Monday, Nov. 7.

Correspondent Savannah Guthrie, who covered the Michael Jackson trial for the network, will be covering this anticipated trial providing daily reports and analysis live from Sarasota.

Smith was caught on a surveillance camera kidnapping 11-year-old Carlie Brucia on February 1, 2004. It’s alleged that Smith abducted, raped and murdered young Brucia.

Prosecutors are seeking the death penalty for the auto mechanic and father of three.
