Body Found In Portland Identified As Lynn Moran

Three weeks after she disappeared from Portland's Old Port, police say the body of Lynn Moran was found floating in Portland harbor Monday morning.

Portland Police say a man waiting for a ride at the Maine State pier discovered the body around 7:30 A.M.

They've ruled Moran's death as an accidental drowning and are awaiting the results of toxicology reports.

Moran had been out to lunch with friends and visited an acquaintance on Market Street on Columbus Day, but then disappeared.

Police searched for any sign of Moran throughout the Old Port. Volunteers and wardens searched South Portland near the police department, which is near the water, after a woman says she saw Moran there the night Moran disappeared.
