Search for missing college student is expanding
A special task force, which includes Richmond police, the FBI, Virginia State Police and the Attorney's General office, has been established to find 17-year-old VCU student Taylor Behl.
The coalition will bring more resources to the investigation.
Richmond Police Chief Rodney Monroe says it will allow them to conduct extensive interviews and check phone records. He says there's still no evidence of foul play, but it remains a criminal investigation.
Behl disappeared on Labor Day. The task force has set up a special tip line: (804) 514-8477.
A Richmond man referred to by police as a "person of interest" in Behl's disappearance was arraigned Monday morning on CHILD PORNOGRAPHY charges.
Ben Fawley, 38, was arraigned on 16 counts of child pornography. Assistant Commonwealth's Attorney Mike Jagels said investigators found evidence in Fawley's computers of at least 30 movies depicting sexual acts with children between 10 and 14 and some as young as 1.
Fawley, an amateur photographer, will remain in jail without bond until his Oct. 31 preliminary hearing.
Authorities say the charges are "not directly related" to the disappearance of Behl.
