Couple charged with sexual abuse of girl, 15
An Orleans County husband and wife have been charged with sexually abusing a 15-year-old girl.
Albion Police on Tuesday arrested Tanya M. Cook, 22, and Keith C. Cook, 24, both of 222 Chamberlain St.
Tanya M. Cook was charged with four counts of third-degree criminal sexual act and six counts of endangering the welfare of a child. Police allege she not only participated in the sex acts, but also arranged for them.
Keith C. Cook was charged with two counts of third-degree rape, four counts of third-degree criminal sexual act and six counts of endangering the welfare of a child, said police.
According to police, Tanya M. Cook was released from jail on her own recognizance and Keith C. Cook is in the Orleans County Jail in lieu of $5,000 cash bail.
Both are scheduled to appear in Albion Village Court on Tuesday.
