Lincoln man charged with child sex abuse involving Internet
LINCOLN, N.D. - A man here is accused of child exploitation and pornography, involving a girl he met on the Internet, authorities said.
Chad Weishaar, 26, has been charged with four counts of corruption of a minor and four counts of promoting or directing an obscene sexual performance of a minor, Mountrail County Sheriff Ken Halvorson said. The charges are felonies.
Weishaar was arrested on April 30 by Burleigh County authorities, Halvorson said.
The case involved a Mountrail County girl, Halvorson said.
Northwest District Court Judge Doug Mattson set Weishaar's bond at $100,000 on May 2.
Weishaar is being held in the Mountrail County Jail in Stanley, Halvorson said.
