Man convicted of sexual abuse of child
Rapid City -- South Dakota
A Mission man was convicted on six counts of aggravated sexual abuse of a child and one count of simple assault after a federal jury trial in Pierre earlier this month.
Roy B. One Star, 43, was charged in connection with the sexual abuse of two children between August 1995 and May 2002 in Todd County, according to a news release from the U.S. Attorney's Office.
The maximum penalty for each count of aggravated sexual abuse is life in prison and a $250,000 fine. One Star remains in custody pending sentencing April 11.
