MAN CHARGED FOR SEXUAL ASSAULT OF CHILD
A 49-year-old Wichita Falls man is charged with aggravated sexual assault of a child, and police say possibly several more children.
Welden Clark Pierce had bond of $100,000 set on the charge. Police say an 18-year-old girl told them she was molested by Pierce beginning at age 8 until age of 13, and she was raped at age 11. The girl also told investigators, Pierce molested other children in the same home. Police say there were multiple Child Protective Service reports alleging sexual abuse of children by Pierce at the girls home as well as another home.
