Lisa Montgomery in Court
The woman accused of murdering 23-year-old Bobbie Jo Stinnett and removing Stinnett`s unborn baby made an appearance in court today.
A federal judge in Kansas read Lisa Montgomery her rights and charges against her. She`s accused of kidnapping resulting in murder. If convicted, she faces life in prison, the death penalty, or a $250,000 fine.
Montgomery walked into the courtroom wearing a blue jumpsuit and oversized glasses. She wore a heavy face and hung her head, maintaining a constant gaze at the floor.
She`s due back in court Thursday morning at 9 o`clock.
