Suspect in child porn case faces sex assault charges

FARMINGTON - A man charged in a child pornography case earlier this month now also faces sexual assault charges.
Robert Roy Baker, 46, was charged Wednesday with two counts of aggravated sexual abuse of a child, two counts of rape of a child and two counts of sodomy upon a child.
He could be sentenced to up to life in prison on each count, if convicted.
The charges are in connection with alleged sexual activity with a girl when she was a pre- and young teen, from January
1993 to December 1996, said Bountiful police Lt. Randy Pickett.
According to court documents, Baker admitted to police he had sex with the child.
