PINEVILLE -- An Anderson man accused of burglarizing the Pineville Grill now faces nine additional charges.
Jerry D. Chrisman faces charges of first degree statutory rape, an unclassified felony; sexual exploitation of a minor child, a class A felony; first degree promoting prostitution, a class B felony; two counts of class B felony child abuse; and four counts of promoting the sexual performance of a child, a class C felony.
The incidents involve a 12-year-old girl, two 14-year-old girls, and a 16-year-old boy, a probable cause statement indicates.
Chrisman was already in jail on charges that he burglarized the Pineville Grill on Nov. 5, and allegedly took $631 in cash from the restaurant.
According to a sworn probable cause statement by McDonald County Deputy Debra Cuckovic, Chrisman allegedly had sex with a girl who was younger than 14 on two occasions. Chrisman is also accused of filming the incident with a web camera, then putting the film on the Internet.
On two occasions, Chrisman allegedly had the 16-year-old boy engage in sexual intercourse with the older girls, filming them and placing those images on the Internet. According to the probable cause warrant, he allegedly had the three girls engage in sexual performances with each other, putting those images on the Internet as well.
After Chrisman was arrested in the burglary case, one of the girls came forward and told her mother of the events. The mother then contacted authorities. Chrisman has coached a girls youth sports team in the past.
Chrisman has entered not guilty pleas to all 11 charges. He is to appear in court at 10 a.m. Dec. 8 before Associate Circuit Court Judge John LePage for a pre-trial conference on all of the charges. He is being represented by Roscoe Miller, public defender.
